Double-click on the HwOrder key and add webclient to the beginning of the key. If webclient is not included, open the Registry Editor and navigate to ‘HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider’ using the folders on the left-hand side. This value of this key should contain webclient : Reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\HwOrder Open Command Prompt and run the following command: Webclient Not Listed in Network Providers Ive confirmed the Registry keys are correct (including the dependant service) against another Server 2016 that is working. Event logs (System) is stating - Service Control Manager 7023: The parameter is incorrect. Reboot after updating the startup type of the service. Im currently investigating an issue with the WebClient (WebDav Redirector) failing to start on a Server 2016 Standard edition server.
